FAQ’s

I have a quote for a GA3000 and was about to place an order. Can I still do that?

The GA3000+ is no longer available, but we will match the price quote and supply you the improved BIOGAS 3000 in its place. You will get all of the features that you originally needed plus more for no extra cost!

The GA3000+ suited my needs. Why are you replacing it with this new analyzer?

As part of our product life cycle management, we review obsolescence and market requirements and a number of parts on the GA3000+ will be at risk of obsolescence in the coming years. So, by launching the BIOGAS 3000, we can still support your GA3000+ for service for many years to come. Also, the new BIOGAS 3000 has a brand new platform which will allow us to more easily adapt the analyzer to changes in the market and your demands for better remote support, in-field serviceability and upgrade.

Is the BIOGAS 3000 better than the GA3000+?

Yes, it has some key improvements for sure, but it really builds on the reliability of the GA3000+. We listened to our customers and added more sample points, better alarm conditions, improved moisture management and more flexible communications. Additionally, we’ve set it up for future improvements to maximize remote support.

Is the BIOGAS 3000 more expensive than the GA3000+?

If you order a BIOGAS 3000 in 2016, the price will be the same as an equivalent GA3000+.

Is there a difference in product lead time between the BIOGAS 3000 and the GA3000+?

No, we have worked hard to maintain our standard lead time of approximately four weeks after receipt of order.

I recently purchased a GA3000+. Are you going to be able to support and service this unit?

Yes, no need to worry. We service for a minimum of seven years after the last manufacturing date as part of our product life cycle management. That means that we will service the GA3000+ until 2023. After that date, we will continue to offer service, but it may be limited due to cost and availability of parts.
